Live Bands and DJs at The Beverly Hills Hotel
We have played 97 events inside this hotel since 2018 — weddings in the ballrooms, b’nai mitzvah, receptions that keep going long after dessert. We know the rooms, the sound in them, and how the night tends to run.
What we bring to this venue
Every service below has been booked at The Beverly Hills Hotel, most of them many times over. Take one, or let us cover the whole night.
Live bands
Full party bands, cocktail-hour sets and ceremony musicians. Rouge alone has played 31 events at this hotel.
See the bands →DJs
Our DJs have covered 63 nights here, from mitzvah dance floors to weddings that run band-and-DJ back to back.
Meet the DJs →Lighting design
Uplighting, dance-floor washes and stage looks built for these ceilings. We keep a lighting package sheet for this venue.
Ask for the sheet →Sound and AV
Ceremony audio, speeches, video playback and a system sized for the room rather than the biggest one on the truck.
Talk it through →Ceremony musicians
Harp, strings, saxophone and hand percussion for the ceremony and cocktail hour, on their own or ahead of the band.
See the ensembles →Equipment rental
Sound, lighting and staging on a rental basis when you have your own performers and need the gear handled.
Request a quote →What LIV does across the night
One crew from the first guest to the last song. Pick a moment and see what we put in the room, and what it takes to run it.
The walk down the aisle
Processional, vows, recessional. A harpist, a string duo or a saxophone, playing live rather than off a laptop, with the sound run quietly enough that nobody notices it is there.
While guests find the bar
A trio, a solo guitarist or a sax over a DJ set. Loud enough to lift the room, quiet enough that a table of eight can still hear each other talk.
Speeches and first dances
The band plays low through service, then lifts for the first dance and the toasts. Speech microphones, video playback and the timing cues all sit with the same crew.
When the room stands up
The band opens the floor, the DJ takes it from there, and the handoff is planned so it never empties. Percussion, horns and a hand drummer come in for the entrances and the hora.
The last ninety minutes
Lights drop, the set changes, and the room turns into something closer to a club. This is the part guests describe afterwards, and it is the part that needs a DJ who is reading the floor.

A hotel we have worked in for eight years
The Beverly Hills Hotel is not a room you learn on the night. Sound behaves differently in the Crystal Ballroom than it does in the Rodeo Ballroom, and a party that spills into the gardens needs a different plan than one that stays inside. Our bookings here go back to 2018, and most of them have been weddings.
That history is the reason our load-in is quiet and our set times land where the planner wants them. We have worked around this property’s access before, so the gear is staged to match how the hotel actually moves people and equipment on an event day.

Who has played here
The names below are the ones the hotel’s guests have actually heard, with the number of events each has worked at this address.

Also booked here: Marcos Ferrando, DJ Jason, DJ Arin, solo musicians, hand drummers and percussion, and our Middle Eastern traditional band for entrances and hora sets.
What people said afterwards
Reviews left on Google by hosts and guests. Two of them name the DJs who work this hotel.
“I was at a wedding and the music was absolutely incredible. After inquiring about the talent, I learned it was DJ Nathan and a live hand-drummer from LIV Entertainment Group. I come from a background of music and events, and their performance was a cut above. I then hired DJ Oren and Marcos, and utilized their lighting services for my own event.”
“Working with LIV Entertainment was truly one of the funnest and most enjoyable parts of planning our entire wedding. DJ Nathan was unreal, and the entire team, from the sound crew to the lighting crew, was absolutely incredible. You can genuinely feel the passion and effort they put into every detail.”
“LIV was so easy to work with and really professional throughout the whole process. We used DJ Justin who absolutely killed it at our wedding.”
Nights at the hotel
A wedding we produced here: ceremony strings, a live band entrance, and a dance floor that ran on lighting we designed for the room.

What we have produced here
Lighting packages for this hotel

Questions we get about this venue
Do you already work with The Beverly Hills Hotel?
Yes. We have produced 97 events at 9641 Sunset Blvd since 2018, most of them weddings, and we have worked in the Crystal Ballroom, the Rodeo Ballroom and the Sunset Room.
Can we book a band and a DJ for the same night?
Often the best call, and we do it here regularly. The band carries dinner and the first dance sets, the DJ takes the room later, and the handoff is planned so the floor never empties.
Do you handle ceremony music as well as the reception?
We do. Harp, strings, saxophone and hand percussion cover the ceremony and cocktail hour, and the same team stays through the reception so there is one point of contact for the day.
Who handles the lighting and sound at the hotel?
We can. Lighting design, uplighting, sound for speeches and video playback are all in-house, and we size the system for the room instead of overbuilding it.
How far ahead should we book?
Saturdays in spring and autumn go first, often a year out. Send us your date and we will tell you what is still open, including which of our bands and DJs are free that night.
Check your date at this hotel
Send us the date and we will come back with who is free that night, what they cost, and how we would run the evening in that room. No call needed to get an answer.
