The walk down the aisle
A processional has to hold for the whole walk, and this hotel gives you a long one. A solo musician plays it live, the microphones for the vows sit quiet enough that nobody remembers they were there, and the room stays lit for the photographer rather than for us.
While guests find the bar
A single player or a DJ set held low. Loud enough to lift the room, quiet enough that a table of eight can still hear each other talk, which is the part most people get wrong.
Speeches and first dances
Service runs long in a ballroom this size, so the music sits underneath it and lifts for the toasts and the first dance. Speech audio, video playback and the timing cues sit with the same crew, which is why the cues land.
When the room stands up
The floor here opens with a bang more often than not, and it does not empty again. At this hotel the DJ has most often been Oren, with Nathan and Justin covering the rest, and a percussionist coming in live over the top for the entrances.
The last ninety minutes
Lights drop, the beams come up through the haze, and the ballroom turns into something closer to a club. This is the part guests describe afterwards, and it needs a DJ reading the floor rather than running a playlist.
A DJ room, and the numbers say so
Most hotel ballrooms we work in split fairly evenly between bands and DJs. This one does not. Twenty-nine of our thirty-two bookings at 2 Dole Dr have been DJ-led, and a single DJ, Oren, has played it fifteen times. Nathan has eight, Justin three. Between them they have seen this room in every configuration the hotel sets.
That matters more than it sounds. The ballroom is wide and low compared with the Beverly Hills rooms, with a coffered ceiling and drape on every wall, and it swallows a badly aimed system. Knowing where the booth goes, how far the floor has to be dimmed before a single beam reads, and how long the load-in really takes is the difference between a set that lands and one that fights the room all night.

What we have produced here
Two weddings, two very different rooms
The June 2024 wedding ran on the black and white marble floor with the booth at the end of the ballroom. The March 2026 one used a white monogrammed floor against the mirrored wall panels, which doubled every beam we put in the air. Same hotel, same DJ, two completely different-looking nights. Ask us and we will send photographs from both so you can see which one your room is closer to.

Do you already work with the Four Seasons Westlake Village?
Yes. We have produced 32 events at 2 Dole Dr since March 2018, 30 of them weddings, and our most-booked DJ here has played the room 15 times.
Which DJ would we get?
Whoever is free on your date, and we will tell you who that is before you book. Oren has the most nights in this room, Nathan and Justin have both played it several times, and you can hear all three before you decide.
Can we book a band and a DJ for the same night?
Yes. Four of our nights here have carried a band. The band takes dinner and the first dance sets, the DJ takes the room later, and the handoff is planned so the floor never empties.
Can you add live musicians over the DJ set?
We can, and it is one of the better things you can do in this room. A percussionist playing live over the set for the entrances lifts a dance floor in a way a track on its own does not.
How far ahead should we book?
Saturdays in spring and autumn go first, often a year out. Send us your date and we will tell you what is still open, including which of our DJs and bands are free that night.
