This is the newest of the jazz bands mentioned above; these groups recreate pop tunes in a variety of jazz forms.
How Many Musicians Are in a Jazz Band?
Jazz ensembles span from compact trios to full 20-piece bands. Choose based on the atmosphere you want to create. Small trios or quartets are perfect for intimate gatherings, while 15-20 piece big bands suit grand parties or ceremonies. Most jazz collectives can modify their size to accommodate your budget and specific needs.
Can I Request Specific Songs?
Yes, definitely! Jazz ensembles generally have extensive song lists. Start by reviewing their current repertoire for your favorites. For any missing tracks, alert the band early. They’ll often learn new material to accommodate your musical preferences.
How Far in Advance Should You Book?
We suggest making a reservation as soon as possible, especially if you have any specific requests.
With that said, last-minute bookings are common and we can easily get you a jazz band on short notice if available.
