The short answer

LIV Entertainment Group is a Culver City music and DJ company, founded in 2017, that books live bands for hire across Los Angeles. Our own records show 97 events at the Beverly Hills Hotel and 83 at the Beverly Hilton since 2018. Formats run from a voice and guitar duo to an 18 piece band. Bands start near $5,000, weddings at $7,000.

The Beverly Hills Hotel

Ninety seven events since 2018, and two thirds of them were weddings. We have worked the Crystal Ballroom, the Rodeo Ballroom and the Sunset Room, plus the garden and the pool.

Twenty of those nights were b’nai mitzvah. Three were brises. One was a lighting order with no music at all.

On the record: DJ Nathan has taken 33 of those nights and Rouge 31, so the two most requested acts in this building have each played it more than thirty times.

The Beverly Hilton

Eighty three events, with a different mix from the Beverly Hills Hotel: forty six weddings and thirty one b’nai mitzvah.

Thirty one out of eighty three is more than a third of everything we have done in that building. If your simcha is going into the International Ballroom or the smaller room, this crew has loaded into that building dozens of times.

On the record: DJ Oren has 32 nights at the Hilton, more than he has logged at any other hotel on this page.
Venue 03 of 04

The Beverly Wilshire

Forty seven events between January 2018 and June 2026. This is the room where our own booking curve is easiest to read: five in 2018, four in 2019, two in 2020, none at all in 2021, then seven, eight, ten, eight and three more through June.

The main ballroom sits under a coffered dome, and the hotel lays down a marble floor for the first dance.

Band, DJ, or both: of those 47 nights, 27 were DJ only, 9 were band only and 6 ran both.

Four Seasons Westlake Village

Thirty two events between March 2018 and July 2026, and this venue skews harder toward weddings than any other on the list. Thirty of the thirty two were weddings.

Twenty nine of those nights were DJ led and four carried a band. The Grand Ballroom is the room on record.

The room is not a discovery on your wedding day

Sixty six weddings at the Beverly Hills Hotel, forty six at the Beverly Hilton, thirty at Four Seasons Westlake Village and twenty nine at the Beverly Wilshire. A Los Angeles wedding band that has already worked your ballroom is not learning the building on your wedding day. Our wedding bands for hire start at $7,000 for a five piece.

It means fewer unknowns for the planner too. Where we have played before, we already hold the sound limits, curfew and load in details, which saves the planner a round of emails.

Fifty nine b’nai mitzvah across three hotels

Thirty one at the Beverly Hilton, twenty at the Beverly Hills Hotel, eight at the Beverly Wilshire. Three more venues in our Los Angeles history run mostly mitzvahs: Luxe Sunset with thirteen, Skirball Cultural Center with ten and Sinai Temple with eight.

For the traditional set, SAMAR plays darbuka, frame drum, violin and voice, upright bass, qanun and oud, and Rouge has Shani on Israeli repertoire.

How much does it cost to hire a live band in Los Angeles?
A wedding band starts at $7,000, and that figure buys a five piece: one vocalist and four instrumentalists. If the event is a party rather than a wedding, a band starts around $5,000. A DJ on their own starts around $2,000. We publish an overall range of $2,000 to $20,000, and the distance between those two ends is mostly headcount and production. The single biggest cost lever is how many people are on stage, which is why the roster is built in steps rather than one fixed size.
How many musicians should I put on stage?
That depends on the room and the budget, and the roster is built to flex. Rouge covers a range from 3 performers up to 40, with a Premier configuration at 18 pieces and builds at 8 and 6, plus the Rouge Ettes vocal trio. Legendary runs as a 7 piece with a 12 piece version. Chechi x Conrad starts as a voice and guitar duo and scales up to a full band, which is useful when the ceremony and the reception want different sizes from the same act. The $7,000 wedding entry point is a 5 piece.
How do you handle sound limits and curfew at a Beverly Hills hotel?
By already having them. Where we have played before, we hold the sound limits, curfew and load in details, which removes a round of emails from the planner’s week. That covers the rooms we play most: 97 events at the Beverly Hills Hotel, 83 at the Beverly Hilton, 47 at the Beverly Wilshire and 32 at Four Seasons Westlake Village since 2018, plus a running history at Hotel Bel-Air. If your venue is on that list, the rules for your room are not something anyone has to go and ask about from scratch.
Do you play bar and bat mitzvahs in Los Angeles?
A large share of our Los Angeles work is b’nai mitzvah. At the Beverly Hilton, 31 of 83 logged events were b’nai mitzvah, which is more than a third of everything we have done in that building. The Beverly Hills Hotel adds 20 and the Beverly Wilshire adds 8, so that is 59 across three hotels. Three further venues in our Los Angeles history run mostly mitzvahs: Luxe Sunset with 13 events, Skirball Cultural Center with 10 and Sinai Temple with 8. The Beverly Hills Hotel log also includes 3 brises. For the traditional set, SAMAR plays darbuka, frame drum, violin and voice, upright bass, qanun and oud.
Should we book a band, a DJ, or both?
The booking history is the clearest guide, because it is counts. At the Beverly Wilshire, across 47 logged events, 27 nights were DJ only, 9 were band only and 6 ran both. At Four Seasons Westlake Village, 29 of 32 nights were DJ led and 4 carried a band. So a DJ is the most common booking in these rooms, and a band comes in on a minority of nights, sometimes on its own and sometimes alongside the DJ. When a couple wants both, LIV DJ Band puts live musicians on top of the DJ set, and at the Beverly Wilshire that pairing has already run 6 times. We want the ceremony outside. What happens if the weather turns?
The outdoor spaces we have worked in Los Angeles sit at hotels where we have also worked the indoor rooms. The Beverly Hills Hotel log covers the garden and the pool along with the Crystal Ballroom, the Rodeo Ballroom and the Sunset Room. Hotel Bel-Air logs the Swan Lake lawn as its own space, separate from the draped ballroom under the vaulted ceiling. So a move indoors is not a new building for the crew, it is a room they have already loaded into. The call itself belongs to you and the venue.
Which languages can your bands perform in?
Nine from one stage, plus more through individual vocalists. 26 Orchestra, founded by Navid Zad, plays Top 40 in Persian, Hebrew, English, Spanish, Arabic, French, Russian, Turkish and Greek. Rouge approaches it through its vocalists instead: Natascha on American repertoire, Diego and Tito on Latin, Shani on Israeli, Farnaz and Melvin on Persian, Nazi, Moein and Faraz on Farsi, Noam on an international medley, and Talia and Neeraj with Sian on an Indian medley. Legendary plays rock and pop in English and Hebrew.
Can you play a corporate event or a private party instead of a wedding?
Weddings are the bulk of our Los Angeles log, but the same rooms host other nights too. The Beverly Hilton log includes 2 charity galas. The Beverly Wilshire log shows 3 private parties, a birthday, an anniversary, an engagement and a welcome party. The Beverly Hills Hotel adds a private party and a baby shower, and Hotel Bel-Air adds private parties, an engagement and a baby shower. A party band starts around $5,000. Legendary plays rock and pop in English and Hebrew, LIV Vintage Band plays jazzed up vintage pop, and for a cocktail party Janeiro, Mood or the string quartet suit a smaller room.
Can we book lighting or production without a band?
The same records that show music also show production. The Beverly Hills Hotel log includes one order that was lighting only, with no performance attached, and one rental. The Beverly Hilton log includes a rental. The Beverly Wilshire log includes one rental and one night classed as audio visual. So lighting and rental orders do come in on their own, without a band or a DJ on the booking. Some of the setup belongs to the venue: at the Beverly Wilshire, the hotel lays its own marble floor for the first dance under the coffered dome.
How do I get the DJ who has already worked my venue?
Ask for them by name. We track our history person by person, so the answer comes back as numbers rather than promises. DJ Nathan has 33 nights at the Beverly Hills Hotel, 27 at the Beverly Hilton and 15 at the Beverly Wilshire. DJ Oren has 32 at the Beverly Hilton and 15 at Four Seasons Westlake Village. Rouge has 31 at the Beverly Hills Hotel and 10 at the Beverly Wilshire. DJ Jason, DJ Justin, DJ Corey, DJ Aaron and Marcos Ferrando all carry logged nights across these venues.
What works for a cocktail hour rather than a dance floor?
Smaller formats, and the roster carries several. The string quartet is two violins, viola and cello. Deux Cellos is a cello duo. Janeiro plays bossa nova and samba as a quartet or a trio, and was featured in Martha Stewart Weddings in 2013. Chechi x Conrad works as voice and guitar. Charissa plays harp, with performances at Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Dolby Theatre, the Wallis Annenberg Center, LA Live and Coachella behind her. Derrick plays saxophone. LIV Entertainment Group, Inc. was founded in 2017 and works out of 2651 Fairfax Ave. in Culver City. The Better Business Bureau rates us A+. The booking history behind that is 752 events at 158 venues, with the Los Angeles portion concentrated in a handful of hotels we have returned to for eight years.
